Removes existing calcium deposits and prevents new white scale deposits from forming.
Details: Safe for fish and plants. Effective for up to 150 ppm hardness; if hardness is higher than 150 ppm, add more product. Filling new fountains/patio ponds requires an initial treatment to ensure no scale buildup. For best results, do monthly partial water changes. Treat the amount of water added. NOTE: If your fountain/patio pond is located in direct sunlight, water hardness may be higher than normal due to a greater evaporation rate. You may want to drain and refill fountain/patio pond at least twice a year, treating with an initial dose. If white scale is already present, a second dose may be necessary.
Treatment=1 tsp. for every 10 U.S. gallons. Contents treat up to 480 U.S. gal. (1800 L)
